As a leader in Pipe Coating technology, our application process is custom designed by our NACE Certified Inspectors, using the highest quality Fusion-Bonded Epoxy Coating.
Our product is a one-part, heat curable, thermosetting epoxy coating designed for corrosion protection of metal. Utilizing a custom hot flocking spray lance application process, the coating is applied to preheated steel as a dry powder which melts and cures to a uniform thickness. This bonding process provides excellent adhesion and coverage on internal and external piping, facility spools, risers and other steel products. Our coating is resistant to waste water, corrosive soils, hydrocarbons, harsh chemicals, abrasion and is designed to operate at elevated pressure’s, all in a 100% solid’s coating.
McRae Powder Coating’s application process allows for fast turnaround time, producing up to 400 feet per day of internally coated piping with two 1.5 Million BTU Convection Ovens.
McRae Powder Coating’s establishment consists of 7500 square feet in shop space, including two batch/cure ovens and large covered grit blasting areas. Our facility can accommodate up to 20’ lengths of pipe, and we are conveniently located in the hub of oil and gas production, North East BC.
